During these unprecedented times, we have had to greatly alter how we provide services in order to ensure that the human trafficking victims living with us are able to stay healthy. That's meant isolating new residents for the 14-day waiting period recommended by the CDC, providing all of our residents with PPE, and moving some of their recovery needs to a virtual platform.

At the same time that we are shifting services to keep our residents healthy and safe, we also know that the COVID crisis has driven many victims further underground. Sadly, they are not able to break free from their abusers long enough to reach out for help. This is consistent with trends we see across the nation. There is no question that in the coming months - as victims become more visible and are able to seek help - these women will need us more than ever. As we receive more applications, we realize that expansion is an absolute necessity. We must continue to be here to help them!
